Head mounted device for human gaze-tracking in 3D

This was my final project for my M.Sc. degree in Robot Systems Engineering at University of Southern Denmark. I developed a head-mounted device encompassing 2 x calibrated stereo cameras – one for each eye – and a magnetic 3D spatial reference unit. The algorithms and control application was developed in C#. The frame of the head-mounted device was designed using a 3D CAD tool and printed in 3D for rapid prototyping. A paper was accepted to ETRA 2014 for an oral presentation:
